New JBL Studio Monitors

false JBL Professional introduces 3 Series MkIII studio monitors and subwoofer 04/11/26 JBL Professional has announced the launch of the new 3 Series MkIII powered studio monitors and subwoofer, marking the most extensive redesign of the lineup to date with re-engineered acoustics, new Class D amplification and simplified room optimization for music, video and content creators. The new family includes the JBL 305P MkIII, 306P MkIII and 308P MkIII studio monitors and 310S MkIII subwoofer, featuring 81 corrective EQ combinations and integrated mounting options for stereo, surround and immersive monitoring. Here's more details direct from the company...

Building on the legacy of the JBL Professional 3 Series, the MkIII family introduces redesigned acoustic systems, new Class D amplification, simplified room optimization and integrated mounting options to support workflows ranging from compact stereo production setups to 2.1, surround and immersive monitoring. The redesigned high-frequency driver works with an updated JBL Image Control Waveguide to provide a wider, more consistent listening area and stable stereo imaging across the workspace. New low-frequency drivers feature stiffer cone materials, upgraded magnet assemblies and aluminum shorting rings to improve power handling while reducing distortion.

A front-firing JBL SlipstreamTM port design helps deliver more predictable bass performance when monitors are placed on desks, near walls or in other space-constrained environments. The MkIII family also introduces new Class D amplification, providing increased output, greater headroom and lower system noise. Balanced Neutrik® combo inputs and selectable +4 dBu/-10 dBV input sensitivity simplify integration with common studio interfaces, mixers and playback systems.

To help users adapt monitors to different production environments, every full-range model includes four one-touch room controls that provide 81 corrective EQ combinations for speaker placement, wall distance and high- and low-frequency adjustment. The system requires no calibration software or complex setup procedures. Integrated mounting points on every full-range monitor make it easy to expand beyond a traditional stereo configuration.

Whether mounted on walls, ceilings or monitor arms, the family supports stereo, 2.1, surround and immersive monitoring systems. The new JBL 310S MkIII powered subwoofer extends low-frequency response to 26 Hz and includes selectable crossover settings and external bass-management bypass for flexible system integration. 3 SERIES MkIII SERIES HIGHLIGHTS: RE-ENGINEERED ACOUSTIC SYSTEM JBL Professional 3 Series MkIII features redesigned high-frequency and low-frequency drivers paired with an updated JBL Image Control Waveguide for improved stereo imaging, a wider listening area and reduced distortion. The front-firing JBL SlipstreamTM port helps deliver more predictable low-frequency performance in real-world studio environments.

NEW CLASS D AMPLIFICATION Every model features new Class D amplification that provides higher output, increased headroom and lower system noise. Balanced Neutrik® combo inputs and selectable +4 dBu/-10 dBV input sensitivity simplify integration with common studio interfaces, mixers and playback systems. SIMPLE ROOM OPTIMIZATION Each full-range monitor includes four one-touch room controls that provide 81 corrective EQ combinations to compensate for speaker placement, wall distance and high- and low-frequency balance.

The system requires no calibration software or complex setup procedures. CONSISTENT LISTENING EXPERIENCE The redesigned JBL Image Control Waveguide helps maintain consistent coverage across a wider listening area, creating stable stereo imaging and a focused phantom center for more confident mix decisions. BUILT FOR MODERN PRODUCTION The 3 Series MkIII family supports workflows ranging from compact desktop music production to video editing, podcasting, content creation and multimedia production.

Three monitor sizes allow users to select the configuration that best matches their room and workflow. READY TO SCALE Integrated M4 mounting points on every full-range monitor support desktop, wall, ceiling and stand-mounted installations, making it easy to expand from stereo to 2.1, surround and immersive monitoring. The JBL 310S MkIII powered subwoofer extends low-frequency response and provides flexible crossover options for larger monitoring systems.

Pricing and Availability: The JBL Professional 3 Series MkIII family will be available beginning November 3, 2026, in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with North America availability beginning January 7, 2027.
